 Hi Everyone👋, welcome to my second blog, I hope you've enjoyed reading my first blog.

Let me first begin with intoducing my topic to you all guys.

My topic is about the risks of using Snapchat, especially the issue of data breaches and photo leaks, and how they can affect users’ privacy.

The research method that i will use in my blog are:

Descriptive Research: I chose Descriptive Research because as we all know,  nowadays everyone uses different social media platforms, so it's good to describe how people use apps like Snapchat and what they think about it.

Correlation Research: I chose Correlation Research because it helps show if there's a link between using Snapchat and  photo leaks or privacy problems and that with just seeing if there’s a connection, without change anything.

Survey Research: And I chose Survey Research because you can ask a lot of people what they think or feel about Snapchat, since everyone has different opinions and uses different platforms.

Now Let's talk about some Advantages and Disadvantages of social media.

Advantages of social media:

Communication: It helps you stay in touch with family and friends and meet new people from all over the world. Moreover, using platforms to chat with people from different countries can also help us learn about new cultures and keep up with what’s happening around the globe.

Information Access: It provides easy access to information and news, making the world feel smaller. It helps you stay updated on events from different parts of the world, and it’s also a valuable tool for education, offering quick access to sources and references.

 Entertainment: Users find entertainment through various content.

 Networking: It enables networking and maintaining relationships.it opens the door to new opportunities, support, and ideas. Staying connected with others can lead to career growth, collaboration, and lasting professional or personal connections.

  Disadvantages of Social Media:

 Privacy Concerns: Many people fear their information could be shared without permission, leading to trust issues with online platforms👻.

 Addiction:  people spend most of their time in front of screen which can lead to a lot of problems, and one of them is health issue.

 Misinformation: it can lead to the spread of fake news and false informations which can lead to misunderstandings😱.

 Cyberbullying: People who use social media may face  harassment or bullying online and this can lead to emotional distress and may also be a negative impact on mental health😥.

I’m researching this because I want to understand how private photos and information were stolen and shared online without giving permission and how it affected people, especially girls.

What I want to achieve in my presentation is to make people aware of the risks of using social media. I want them to understand not only the benefits but also the disadvantages. 

As human beings, no one is born knowing everything so my goal is to help people understand how to navigate social media responsibly.
